FAQ

  • Inlet pressure: 0.1 MPa to 0.4 MPa. If the pressure greatly exceeds ~0.4 MPa, it is necessary to reduce the pressure (e.g. by installing a pressure reducing valve, included in the package). Inlet water temperature: 5 °C to 38 °C. If it is higher or lower, the filter may be damaged. Installation environment: ambient temperature 4 °C to 40 °C (do not install outdoors or in freezing conditions).

  • This is a three-stage microfiltration system that effectively reduces solid particles, chlorine taste and odor, lead, volatile organic compounds, PFOA, PFOS and microplastics. It also softens the water and prevents limescale. Important: the system is designed for municipal water that meets the standard (e.g. European Directive 98/83/EC) and is not primarily designed for biologically incorrect or highly contaminated water without further treatment.

  • The device is designed for municipal drinking water (tap water) meeting the applicable standards (e.g. EU 98/83/EC) and should not be used for water of biological risk or of unknown origin without prior cleaning/disinfection.

  • No. This system is installed under the sink and does not require an electrical connection. This makes it easy to install even in places without a power outlet.

  • Possible causes and solutions: The filter may be clogged / exhausted → replace the filter cartridge. The water inlet pressure is low (<0.1 MPa) → consider installing a pressure booster. The valve or tap position is not fully open or the installation is incorrect → check the valve opening and correct connection.

  • Check that all connections are tightened and that water does not leak from the installation points. Check the condition of the filter / filter cartridges - if it is heavily clogged, there may be a leak or backflow. In the event of a significant malfunction, contact an authorized service or dealer. The manual warns that unauthorized interventions may affect the warranty.

  • Yes. The user manual contains detailed installation steps: preparation, installation of the three-way tap, installation of the filter itself, connection to the water supply. However, it is necessary to observe hygienic conditions (e.g. clean tools, absence of rust, proper sealing) and ensure that the system is not exposed to extreme conditions (e.g. frost, high heat).

  • Service life may vary depending on the quality of the inlet water and use. The filtration capacity is 3,650 L for AUT811/10 and 1,200 L for AUT820/10. If the flow rate decreases significantly, it is recommended to replace the filter even earlier.

  • This filter is an under-the-sink water filtration system. It provides multi-stage filtration (3 or 4 stages depending on the version) to remove sediment, particles, chlorine, odors, some heavy metals, microplastics, and possibly bacteria/viruses. The goal is cleaner drinking water directly from the tap.
