There are three sets of water temperature: ambient, 85°C and 100°C.

Philips Taste+ cartridges (AWP210, AWP211, AWP212 and AWP213) and Philips Anticalc+ cartridges (AWP230).

The Anticalc+ filter cartridge is designed for use with hard water, softening it during filtration. The Taste+ filter cartridge is designed for water filtration only. However, both filters are compatible with the dispenser.

For the first few seconds, it actually pours room-temperature water. This is simply water from the previous dispensing that has been left in the pipes and needs to be flushed out by the heated water behind it.
