FAQ

  • Cold water valve or the three-way ball valve is turned off. Turn on the valves. The system is not connected with power. Check if the power adapter is connected to the system and the power socket properly.

  • The reverse osmosis filter used in this device has a high efficiency, the wastewater ratio is 2:1, i.e. for 2 liters of purified water, there is 1 liter of wastewater.

  • The water inlet pressure should be in the range of 0.1-0.4 MPa. If the water pressure is lower, a pressure booster should be installed (needs to be purchased separately); if the water pressure is higher, a pressure limiter should be used (included in the package).

  • The system has been filtering water continuously for 30 minutes. Unplug the system, wait for 1 minute, and plug in again.

  • The AUT4030R400 filtration system is designed for municipal tap water, which meets all the requirements of Council Directive 98/83 on the quality of water intended for human consumption and its transposition in individual EU member states.

  • For the AUT4030R400 product, it is always necessary to use original Philips filters labeled Filter 3in1 AUT812/10, Filter RO AUT870R400/10.

  • The system is not connected with power. Check if the power adapter is connected to the system and the power socket properly.

  • The filter station can only be installed in a vertical position.

  • Didn't press the button long enough to trigger the reset. Long press the reset button for 3 seconds to select the filter needs to be reset; Long press the reset button for 5 seconds to reset selected filter.

  • Filter is blocked. Replace the fiter. Inlet water pressure is low. Wait until the inlet water pressure gets stable, or install a pressure boost before the system if the inlet water pressure is constantly lower than 0.1 MPa.

  • The button module may be damaged. Contact customer service.

  • Filter has reached the end of life. Replace the filter. The system hasn't been used for some time. Turn on the purified water and allow the water to run for 5 minutes. The inlet water quality is poor. Always use municipal tap water as the water source. Do not use water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
